Overview

The S600Ex-IR1 point-type infrared flame detector includes an infrared sensor and an optical filter. The detector has the highest sensitivity to the CO2 emission spectrum (4.4μm) produced by the combustion of hydrocarbons. Combined with a logical comprehensive judgment based on the flame flicker frequency during a fire, it has high immunity to false alarms caused by ambient infrared light sources. Because sunlight sources are complex, and the detector uses only a single-wavelength infrared sensor for flame detection, the product is best suited for indoor use. The detector is suitable for liquid and gas fires, open flames that produce smoke, and locations where deflagration may occur.
