4H2S-100 Industrial Hydrogen Sulphide Sensor

4H2S-100 Industrial Hydrogen Sulphide Sensor

Integrate H2S sensing into a compatible portable or fixed gas detector.

  • Check the fit

Review the mechanical interface and pin arrangement before design-in.

  • Match the signal

Compare output, load and response characteristics with your electronics.

  • Plan maintenance

Confirm calibration gas, expected life and replacement requirements.

Request the supplied-part datasheet to verify electrical values and cross-sensitivity.

Overview

The 4H2S-100 is an H2S sensing component for integration into a compatible portable or fixed gas detector. It is not a standalone alarm. Check the mechanical fit, output signal and load against the host electronics before design-in.

For a dependable installation, request the datasheet for the actual supplied part and confirm its response, cross-sensitivity, calibration gas, operating conditions and replacement interval.

Important Note:

The values above are typical values and should not be used as a basis for cross calibration. Cross sensitivities may not be linear and should not be scaled either. Above data based on gassing for 5 minutes using CCR Scientific test equipment. Should be noted some cross interference break through will occur if gas is applied for a longer period of time.

Poisoning:

CCR Scientific sensors are designed to operate in a wide range of harsh environments and conditions. However, it is important that exposure to high concentrations of solvent vapors is avoided, both during storage, fitting into instrument and operation.

When using sensors on printed circuit boards (PCB’s), degreasing agents should be used prior to the sensor being fitted.
